zakobi Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Had a visit today from the An-225, and I got to snap a few pics: Nice pictures. Reminds me of, does anyone have a size comparison of the An-225 with the C-17, C-5 or Airbus 380? Just to see how big it really is.
Lucas_From_Hell Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Found some stuff over the net. C-5 on the background: Size comparsion between An-225, Spruce Goose, A380 and 747: And on this one, his 'small' buddy dwarfing Bears, Extenders and Fortresses: On this picture, we can tell two things: 1. The An-124 is huge. 2. The same applies for the Su-27 :D

Pilotasso Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Yup, last minute modifications from anti fighter to anti missile for fielding at the front can cause that to happen. Similar problems were encountered by British tornados featuring the all new TIALD system, the lasers wouldnt fire. .

mikoyan Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Very sad news, RIP for the pilot. For some reason most crashes at airshows happen the same way; so far I have seen an at-6, a spitfire, f-18, f-16, 3 su-27s, a mirage 2000, and a pits crashing the same way. I wonder if there is something that can be done to prevent this kind of accident. Maybe a spotter to help the pilot get better orientation during the show?

Pilotasso Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 (edited) Speaking of NH90: Starting deliveries this year. The helo fanatics are ecstatic. We already have 12 EH101. These 2 are by far the most modern aircraft in the inventory. Edited April 6, 2010 by Pilotasso .
