Heli Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 (edited) How Big is Big? Thirteen years ago, an incredulous world wondered if the big Lockheed C-130 Hercules ever would make it into the air. Now, 1,000 planes later, this composite photo dramatically illustrates how the Hercules would fit into the C-5 Galaxy, world's largest airplane. The first Galaxy now is nearing completion at the Lockheed-Georgia Company in Marietta, GA. Both giants will go on confirming the little town's boast of "Airlift Center of the World." Lucas_From_Hell Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Some now-vintage Esquadrilha da Fumaça, still flying the T-27/EMB-312 :) For comparison, here is their first presentation flying the A-29/EMB-314. It's interesting to see them flying the same routine in such a different aircraft. Despite being a development of the T-27, the A-29 is an attack aircraft with an engine that is more than twice as powerful and weighting nearly twice as much as well. There's just something pleasant about it.
