landing damaged mig

amazing footage

from Wings of Russia

I wander is that is actual footage from a MIG AT

I'm just saying, since the speed looks like mph instead of kph, what other countries have the MIG-AT?

The "symbology" on the HUD looks like the same "symology" from french aircraft in other videos

Just wandering if they used another video and added the sound... I seen that HUD part of that video before but I can not find it.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

No it's a metric HUD, MIG-AT actually stalls at >190kph so I see why you're surprised...;)

However, it might be a overdubbed sound, I thought the same.

Mikhail Pogosyan in that video, wasn't he a Sukhoi guy?!!?

AFAIK he was in Sukhoi (may 1999 - july 2007) and now is in RSK MiG (from 2008 december) :)

190kph? The video show it turning at 150 and below.

Obviously I do not know the stall speed, but landing approach is less than 150 kph, wow

Flare is 124kph is even more impressive

Like I said, I do not know the number for this aircraft, I do not even know what countries have them in service that might use a French HUD. But those numbers are very impressive for speed, this thing is almost as slow as a J-3 piper :D

Good point. :P

Anyways, here's what an aircraft can look like when you give a pilot a little too much thrust to play with:
