Black Screen Still an Issue after OB Update

I've run the repair tool several times and installed the work around lua to no avail. I get a black screen and then crash.

For whatever reason, you Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Config/options.lua has an unsupported screen resolution: width:23040 height:4662

Either delete the width/height lines from the file, or the file itself (you will lose some of your settings though).

I am not running updates, even with DCS Updater. Is this my problem?

Also having a black screen issue. I installed the Open Beta overnight and it worked just fine this morning. I downloaded the modules and it's now showing an eternal black screen after the DCS Splash logo.

I fixed it by changing Mods\aircraft\F-16C\Options\optionsDb.lua this way

The deletion of the Saved Games folder did the trick. Updated drivers as well.

Good to hear.

 

Cleanup and repair and renaming your dcs folder in saved games is the best way to troubleshoot a problem. Rules out any settings / scripts / or mod issues

Rename DCS folder in saved games location ( keep it as a backup)

 

then do a cleanup and repair of dcs ( if stand alone )

 

or verify cache ( if steam version )
