If you have your CMDS system turned on, Flip the switch for the Chaff && Flare, then turn the program button to 1-4, finally turn the last dial (forgot the name) to MAN.

Now you will press CMS forward to deploy Chaff && Flare based on the program that you have set. Eventually we will have the ability to adjust what each program does according to our preferences for a particular mission.

I’m lazy :) I map a key to release Flare/Chaff, and just turn dial to MAN.

This defeats the programming? I was wondering how I could get that to work because I dont usually dump 20 flares and chaff at one time.

There is also a wall dispenser you can slam :) This drops two chaff and two flares. Much more conservative than CMDS forward.

There is? I was looking for wall dispenser / panic button in setting but i could not find.

The button itself is above the throttle grip on the sidewall. You have to get your head/view lower to see it. And in the controls it's called CHAFF/FLARE Dispense Button.

Thank you very much. Will check it as soon as i am able.

I have no idea how did i miss it though.

CMS up should use the program you've selected (1-4).

CMS left should use the program 6, but i did not saw it do anything.

Program 5 is the wall dispense button.
