Uhm, this is the F/A-18G Growler you see there, which is a Super Hornet and has totally different instrumentation than our Legacy Hornet...

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Although there is no recorded instance of pacman being run on a legacy who's to say the an/ayk14 pi ( being a late model legacy it might even have vpm upgrade to the ayk14 pi) doesnt have enough processing or video power to run pacman?

I'm pretty sure even on a ea18g pacman is not a standard authorized feature described in natops...:music_whistling:

But sure is pretty neat non standard feature, something akin to the "toilet bomb" Perhaps modders would make this happen.

Oh, now I see what the OP is talking about. I didn't even notice the MCPD and thought he was referring to the green circles on the engine instrument panel...

My bad

That is indeed a neat feature! :D

I think I have seen some other video game being run on one of the F-14 screens in one of the fighter fling videos. I'll try to find it again.

Would be a great Easter egg or April Fool to have this. However I suspect it's unlikely because ED would probably have pay the rights holder (Bandai Namco) for use of the Pacman code or imagery, with no tangible return on that investment.

They would also have to endure a big shitstorm for wasting resources on an easteregg, while the Hornet and the Viper still miss a lot of actual functionality ;)

I doubt this is real as you can clearly see some walls from Pacman going above the frame and the buttons.

Forgive me if this was a joke and I didn't get it.

Found it! It was Rogue Squadron on the RIOs TID in an F-14D:

I cant recall where but once read that a pilot once answered a question asked " can the f35 run crisis"

and said something along the lines of not quite but the f35 hardware was powerfull enough to run counter strike go.

Wonder if that was just to give an idea of computing power or was also talking from actual experience ;)
