S~ Gents and Ladies,

After the update without a hitch. I'm just sharing my experience while taking Viper out for a spin over the Caucasus. Anyone experienced this issue while low, fast and turning hard?

Yes. No need to turn. Accelerating in level flight causes slight pitch oscillations between 650 and 800kias. (maximum between 700-750)

Above 870kias I'm experiencing the same phenomenon like you do.

That is not slight oscillation :) I think it is not just in the pitch. Please care to look at the rudder after each bank or roll.

Again, there's a very noticable high frequency pitch oscillation between 650-800kias. But the pitch oscilliation has been there already in the previous release.

This has nothing to do with the severe roll/yaw excursions at higher speeds.

Got it, thanks bbrz. ~S :)

Don't know about the F-16, but VMO/MMO on most jets is at least 10% lower than VDF.

I experienced this, too, already in the previous patch (first Falcon release), it was in RedKite's refuel mission, I was up at 20 k feet, in leveled, straight flight and accelerated to Mach 1.03 (don't remember how many knots, probably more than 650 TAS), pitch oscillations started; from external view it was clear that the stabilators were moving up and down, without any input. I don't have a track, but, if it can be useful, I have a tacview file.

I had the wobble as well down low

What mods do you guys have installed? Does it behave like this even without mods?

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

You did not forget to close your air refuel door?

No mods, no open refueling door.

I was going to the tanker and already set up for refueling, so yes, the door was open. I'll test it with the door closed as soon as I can.

I had the refuel door open when started but closing didn't fixed it. I had to lower my speed a lot. Horizontal stab was moving up and down like crazy.

an open refuelling door does appear to have a significant impact on the smoothness of the flight, especially for a relatively small "hole".

It has nothing to do with the size of the refueling receptacle. When the AIR REFUEL door is open the FLCS changes mode to "Slow Flight", the same when you lower the landing gear handle.
