TOViper Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 (edited) Hi folks, had this problem a few times on my user-made multiplayer mission. JTAC (Humvee) is assigned to a group consisting of two ground units (edit: they are not moving). After hitting the first target with a GBU-12 bomb, JTAC says "SHIFT". In fact JTAC doesn't shift the laser, because new bombs are then falling on the already destroyed first target (of course I release them after he said "SHIFT" ...). If I tell him "TERMINATE" after the first target has been destroyed and then again "LASER ON", he really shifts the laser. Don't think that this is the intended behavior, is it? Kind regards, TOViper Edited October 18, 2019 by TOViper Visit https://www.viggen.training ...Viggen... what more can you ask for? my computer: AMD Ryzen 5600G 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA RTX 3080 10GB | 32 GB 3.2 GHz DDR4 DUAL | SSD 980 256 GB SYS + SSD 2TB DCS | TM Warthog Stick + Throttle + TRP | Rift CV1

Tom Kazansky Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 (edited) Must be relatively new. I once dropped 7 LGBs within a minute and JTAC shifted all of them into targets. Didn't even have to wait for a shift call before triggering the next. EDIT: just checked my traks from this attack but the track is not even close showing what really happened any more. ED must have changed a lot of things since then. So I can't be of help sorry. Edited November 21, 2019 by Tom Kazansky
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 21, 2019 ED Team Posted November 21, 2019 Hi I Have just checked and all seems ok for me, Make sure when you make your re-attack you come in from outside the IP, the JTAC can be pretty strict If you still have problems attach a track replay and we will take a look. thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Anyway, this might be a good tip for others who want to re-attack very quickly after the first attack. I just tell them TERMINATE, and then LASER ON again. Works like a charm. Thanks Tom and BigNewy for this tip, I will try very soon and report back!
