Bearfoot Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 I have a TM warthog throttle with a third-party afterburner detent. I cannot remember if I modified my curves or not, but at the current setting the afterburner kicks in perfectly and exactly as I clear the detent. Love it! What I am not sure about is how to control the various afterburner stages (stage 1 through 5). I take it that IRL these are discrete bumps? Or is it just continuous. For me afterburner is an all or nothing thing right now -- either I am in full burn or no burn at all.
MPK Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Where did you get the third party detent? That sounds really useful.
IronMike Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 The F110 did not have zones (or stages) like the TF-30s. You simply have a range at the end of your throttle (or after the detent, however you do it), where you can control the ABs continously, means without any further detents. This is usually a small range on our household sticks and thus requires very small and precise input. Until we exchange it for the EIGT (atm we still have the engine instruments from the A), you can read on your nozzle position how much AB percent you have, 1 "zone" being 25% ofc. In otherwords, there's only one zone: the dangerzone. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks!
