I found this thread and I downloaded all the files

I tested the BKN-Mountains

The clouds look much better ( density, thickness, etc )

I can't understand this

I wish I could use the same, with " STATIC " weather

Any advices ?

Thank you

Static weather allows finer control over winds, rain, etc ... but it is the same on all the map. Dynamics is more diverse all over the map, but you lose the fine control over wind and rain effects. You’ve to take your pick :)

Okay, but why, with Dynamic weather, the clouds are looking better ?

Density, etc.

Is there a way to have them same ( like in the printscreen ) for the Static weather ?

Will they ever improve the clouds / dynamic , etc ??

Not that I know of ... let’s see if one of ED developers can answer your question.

Another good question about dynamic weather is :

Is that possible to have a real cloud cover without generating hurricane-like winds. Because in the current model, it seem the only way to have cool clouds is to create a monster cyclonic depression... In its current state, the dynamic weather is almost useless and unusable.

I thought it's possible to generate real cloud cover and stop the wind

Some Lua editing...

Not that I’m aware of. You can edit the LUA to alter the placement, shape, strength, etc of systems but wind is a requirement. Earlier it was possible with lighter winds because there was more cloud cover. The new cloud system changed that. Here’s the same TRK file played pre- and post-change:

Edit: Just recognized the name. :) You already have this link.

Light winds provide light cloud cover. Cloud cover increases with wind speed. Further, rain begins at a certain wind speed and increases in prevalence as wind increases.
