DCS needs informative post landing, and taxi marshalling.

'Colt2, welcome back, taxi to parking 12 clockwise or CCW' , and/or using a FOLLOW ME truck.

"Callsign declaring an emergency, roll equipment, clear me for straight in approach."

'Taxi to parking' is not quite informative.

I get that , if T/O. and recovery was from same field, then parking spot is where the aircraft was parked at beginning of mission. But if mission starts in air or on runway, then there is no way to know for sure where to go. Normally I just taxi to where other aircraft of same type I am flying, are parked.

On departure, once takeoff is cleared, if aircraft does not begin roll after 30 seconds, tower would ask "Callsign , is there a problem?

Absolutely agree, but then it would also be good if the basic functionality we have so far would just work consistently. I hope with the often-rumoured ATC overhaul things like these will get incorporated. Generally taxi instructions that actually tell which taxiways to use to get wherever one is supposed to go would be good.

Yeah, I'm so stoked for the emergency part to be supported, I just think that's cool if an damaged AI has to go back to base, actually gets priority from other AIs to land first and you would have some minor animations/trucks being rolled and would it (it would start repair in hangar/park as per normal) as ATC instructs other AI's trying to land to either go to alternate or wait, and that would be cool for AI to have this "landing logic" so they really do decide on their own what's best, as well as ATC also messaging to all the AI's that try to land what the status of the airfield is, the queue, so even if they wait they may not get a slot

The thing that could be of benefit to be simulated, is the trucks actually dousing water and killing fire, if the new damage models actually support realistic fire to some degree.

So not just ATC for us, but there also should be an ATC AI that manages the AIs and ofcourse AIs can override if they really have to like if they don't hear the comms for some reason, but ofcourse ATC would realize there's an aircraft not listening to so it would handle the situation differently again.

Even if takeoff and landing are the same and in the same parking, it would be good for ATC to tell us which taxiway to use - for instance if a taxiway is out of action or is occupied.
