One question is if as a rotary transport pilot it counts as being alive at the end of the event if we haven't expended all three of our lives?

Correct, you have to die 3 times to count as dead, if you are rotary transport.

 

In general, I recommend to both teams to recuirt 1 additional transport pilot. Mi8 (red) and Huey (blue).

 

We are also still missing a red airboss. The airboss can be recruited outside of the current roster.

Updated briefing, forgot to mention:

 

Red fighter aircraft start at Kish and Kuznetsov, red striker and rotary wings start at Bandar Abbas.

 

Blue fighter aircraft start at Al Dhafra, CVGS (2x 1 stennis and 1 Tarawa), blue striker and rotary wings start at Al Ain.

Also no aim9x counts for both hornets and f16s.

we are still in lack of a RED AIRBOSS! I will let red team fly without an airboss, but know that you will be at a disatvantage. However, you can recruit any flightboss outside of the current flight roster. I would offer myself, if I would not have to be present in the stream.

Dear all,

 

Tiger was extremely kind and prepared a briefing for each team separately, flights, tasks, everything, in the briefing card style that is classic for fighters. Thank you so much, Tiger.

 

Now, of course he is the blue boss, but we can distinguish for events pretty well, the red briefing is done just as if he were the red airboss. If you find a red airboss, feel free to either stick to it, or to alter it of course, imo it is an excellent basis, and even if no one will step up as red airboss, you guys have a plan now.

 

Blue side will of course neither act nor get told what red side's briefing is and vice versa. We have to "unlearn" as mission creators and airbosses anyway, as we know each unit placement and so on. We treat however each event as if we don't, and this counts for the briefing as well.

 

Remember, this event is less about winning as it is to have a great mission and fun unfold for both sides.

 

Please remember to show up an hour early tomorrow, especially red team, because if there is no airboss, I will brief you prior to the event, and you will need it.

RED SIDE can add 1 more Mi-8 on top of its roster, reserve pilots get priority. If red side cannot add 1 more transport rotary, red can pick any additional slot they want. However, transport rotary is priority.
