Not gonna lie....the big appeal of DCS to me is eye candy. Is there anywhere I can find a list of different liveries for the F-15C (actually, ANY DCS a/c would be nice!).

To clarify....that are stock in the module, not user made.

They are not many .. look on the path \Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\F-15C

I am waiting for my host PC to arrive. LOL I have not downloaded DCS or bought any modules yet. Just curious what is available.

I did go to your link though.....very cool! I've downloaded some already to use once I get the laptop and sim ready to go.

 ... just checked and the standard F-15C liveries are just eleven:

If you have not purchased any module yet, and like the F-15, may I suggest that you take advantage of the Xmas sale and purchase Flamming Cliff 3 rather than just the F-15 .. its just US$ 25 and you get more aircrafts, plus the ability to make use of VSN Mods, with aircrafts like this:

Best regards

That is exactly what I'm going to do. FC3, the Nevada and Persian Gulf maps and maybe the A-10C. I'm kinda debating the bundled F/A-18C/Persian Gulf map, but I'm not a big fan of the Hornet. LOL I figure this sim will be difficult enough without learning how to land on a carrier. LOL

After you get an idea about DCS, and you really want " eye candy " then you should buy the F14B / F18 / F16C or M2000C

The F-16C is on the "short list". Not sure about the Hornet. Why would you recommend it or the Mirage? I thought about the F-5E as it's supposed to be a good 'learning' plane.

F16C, F18... there is still a lot of work to do ( updates ) but they are both awesome

M2000C is an amazing aircraft, imo

I do like F5E as well but didn't fly it much

The F-16 is nice, but its at least a year behind the Hornet in development status.

I prefer the Hornet over the Mirage, as carrier ops is a really exciting plus ... sure, landing takes a bit of practice but it is exhilarating once you learn it.

The F-5 has a very primitive radar, only 2 IR missiles, no autopilot, no HUD, and very old-school air-ground sight ... the Hornet is considerably easier to use and not much harder to learn.

Best regards.
