Schmidtfire Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 The AGM-65F picture is clean and does not look like a video feed coming from a missile. Crosshairs are also a bit static with no dynamic jitter at all. AGM-62 Walleye has a very nice "video effect" in DCS so I hope that something similar can be made for the AGM-65F.

The walleye is an older generation guided munition. It aught to have lower resolution and more grainy imagery. Mars Exulte Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) Somebody's been watching YouTube... I mean ''doing research''. That's caused by camera and network quality. They don't design them that way. Unsurprisingly, the more modern it is, the better it works. Btw, youtube ''graininess' comea from poor quality recordings being repeatedly downloaded and reuploaded. In real life they can actually see what they're doing. So no, thumbs down. Btw, in the options you can lower that tv video quality and make it as crappy as you want. Schmidtfire Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 I did not even mention youtube? All I meant was that the current image does not look like a video feed coming from a missile. Walleye obviously is older and has it's share of issues with image quality. But the current feed from AGM-65F is totally lifeless in comparison. Reminding you that while it was introduced 30 years ago it uses a seeker from the late 1970's. Not even saying it should be poorer than it is. Just some life added to it, thats all.
