Mission Editor - single player

Trying to create a single player training mission.

Can't figure out how to set it up so i can fly it. There is no "player" option in the drop down...

What am i missing?

First, you will need to place the unit on the map. Then you will see a Player option in Yellow.

 

If you do not own a module, there will be no Player option and the aircraft will not be in Yellow. In my case I do not own the Harrier module. Client is available if you make multiplayer missions for others that have the module.

Thanks, but i have placed the aircraft, an F16, on the Nevada map. The aircraft is sitting on the runway. It flies as an AI aircraft when i start the mission, all i can do is watch. I am running this in the non-Beta version of DCS World, if that matters.

Did you place one of the AI only F-16s in the mission? As Chaz said in aircraft screen the module would be yellow.

 

Only other thing I can think of is if you were trying to change time of day but changed mission start (when unit is activated) instead.

Which of the many F-16 did you choose? There are many(AI) but only one where you can set the Pilot to Player, like everybody above said, it's the yellow one. Maybe you should take a screenshot and post it here.

After you place the aircraft on the map, you need to select a skill level in the right hand pane.

Player = single player mission

Client = multi player mission

Make sure you place the F-16C Block 50. Aircraft you can fly are in yellow on your drop-down menu of airplanes. Let us know how it goes.
