Same problem occurs, so maybe the magnetometer sensing the motion of the collective axis is broken.. (?)

I dont under stand when he says in the second post you linked to: "On the controller board we find two contacts labeled "BOOT"..." What controller board is he talking about? I can't recognize anything like that inside my collective. I think indeed a firmware reboot of my device would help, but I can't figure out how to do it. Because the VPC Programs and Windows joy.cpl won't respond to the device properly.
