twistking Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 hi, with wwII asset packs getting more allied AAA, i realized that some of those guns could be used for more modern scenarios. AAA of soviet origin would obviously be better, but some of the american guns could be "good enough" for some scenarios. it would be nice to make those guns available with modern blufor/redfor and insurgent type crew to use them in early cold war and moden asymetric scenarios. should be very little effort, with good effect! thanks. Jester986 Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 You can use them now if you buy have the asset pack.
Quip Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 You can use them now if you buy have the asset pack. It's quite easy to add Flak in the ME with a script. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/683612/

Kang Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 As in: add them to the inventory of some post-WW2 nations in DCS?
twistking Posted January 11, 2020 Author Posted January 11, 2020 As in: add them to the inventory of some post-WW2 nations in DCS? ... and more importantly, switch the visible crew accordingly. having irregular / insugent / PMC crew visible would help those units to better fit pot wwII scenarios. Kang Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Ah, I guess having a visual change to the crews would be a bit more of work, since the model would have to change.
Jester986 Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 If your building a mission the USAF agressors "country" has access to every unit.
twistking Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 If your building a mission the USAF agressors "country" has access to every unit. i know, but i am wishing for the crew to visually change for post-WWII scenarios. I assume that drivers, pilot and crew are technically already seperated from the parent model and that switching crew models would therefore not be much work.
