Is there something new I have to do or is it a bug that the aim-9 won't lock to a radar target?

You have the option of "SLAVE" or "BORE" on the SMS. If you want the Aim-9 to slave to the radar or the HMCS, then select slave. In both cases though, you have to uncage the seeker to get the missile to track after pickle.

I know the 9x seeker will follow the HMCS when in DGFT mode and BORE selected. Is there a way to get it to do that OUTSIDE of BORE and DGFT modes?

Not finding it necessary to open a new thread, regarding the AIM-9 Modes and Functions in the F-16.

Sometime has passed, is this solved ?

Thank you.

It is very easy to check if you know what that is, correct? Fire up your Viper and go go go 🙂

Hello Furiz, yes unfortunatelly I do have DCS currently uninstalled from my PC as I was forced to format it recently.

The reason why I asked, is to have an idea of how certain basic features are in the F-16, before I go through all the hassle of installing / configuring / setting everything again.
