Wizard_03 Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 I hope they reconsider DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Devil 505 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Beyond me how this gorgeous woman is not talked about more in DCS. Older video below from the start of 2024 taking Flying Iron Simulations P-38 up. I need to reshoot these in 4K when MSFS 2024 comes out. But a good example of what we are missing in DCS Pacific. This is beyond and exhilarating flight in VR. This and the Corsair are musts for the Pacific. 2

It's probably beacuse no one has any plans to do one yet. I know I'm not the only one that would love FlyingIron to bring a P-38 to DCS once they finish with the A-7E. They've already done the research for the MSFS version, and ED has no plans for the P-38, so it seems the most plausible way we get one to me. 1 Modules: F-14A/B, F/A-18C, F-16C, F-4E, F-5E, FC3, AV-8B, Mirage 2000C, L-39, Huey, F-86, P-51, P-47, Spitfire, Mosquito, Supercarrier Maps: Persian Gulf, Syria, NTTR, Marianas, Normandy 2, Channel, Kola Upcoming Modules Wishlist: A-1H, A-7E, A-6E, Naval F-4, F-8J, F-100D, MiG-17F

Well, your going to dig this if you fly MSFS, especially 2024 coming out. Flying Iron have confirmed they are working on the B-17 for MSFS. I truly think when they release the A-7 Corsair 2, they will be right up there with Heat Blur from a DCS standard. 2
MadKreator Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 I’m going to reply again, just to restate how much I’d love a p-38 in DCS! It’s really amazing that no one has done one, and even ED has no plans. For such an iconic warbird, I would have thought this would be at the top of someone’s WW2 list to develop 4 Intel i7 13700k, ASUS rog strix z790A, 64gigs G.Skill Trident DDR5 @6400Mhz, Nvidia RTX 4080FE, 4TB, 2x 2TB, 1TB Samsung NVME, 1TB Samsung SSD, Corsair RM1000x, Corsair Titan 360 X AIO cooler, Lian Li LanCool 2, VKB Gunfighter Ultimate, VKB Custom STECS , MFG Crosswinds, Moza FFB, Virpil Collective, Track IR5, 48” LG UltraGear OLED & HP 24” touchscreen for Helios,49” Samsung Ultrawide, Streamdeck XL, Corsair Virtuoso RGB Headphones

Devil 505 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Agreed! Curious to see who will pick up the original lightning! She is a must for the Pacific Theatre and honestly the European Theatre as well. This sexy girl needs to be brough to the party! 8
1BRAVO9 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Definitely an iconic aircraft, it should be the next WWII era plane added to the game. 5
Devil 505 Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Hopefully there is more attention to the Lightning now that the Pacific Campaign is underway in DCS. 4
