mastershotgun Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Hi Guys, On the unofficial road map is a note that they are working on something called "Revert VR", Does anybody know what it actually is? Thank you.
Harlikwin Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Change it back from defered rendering? Though I have no idea how that would work and it might look like crap. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1) Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).
Baldrick33 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I would guess a typo and meant to be Reverb VR Rift S and Revert VR on test on DCS https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=238589 AMD 5800X3D · MSI 4080 · Asus ROG Strix B550 Gaming · HP Reverb Pro · 1Tb M.2 NVMe, 32Gb Corsair Vengence 3600MHz DDR4 · Windows 11 · Thrustmaster TPR Pedals · VIRPIL T-50CM3 Base, Alpha Prime R. VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Base. JetSeat
mastershotgun Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 I would guess a typo and meant to be Reverb VR yea, this is what I was thinking, but they mentioned "Revert" in more than one post so I'm not sure anymore...
Notso Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 yea, this is what I was thinking, but they mentioned "Revert" in more than one post so I'm not sure anymore... I doubt ED would refer to a specific headset or manufacturer. Revert seems more likely correct in context. But yes, I don’t know what they would “revert” to. System HW: i9-9900K @5ghz, MSI 11GB RTX-2080-Ti Trio, G-Skill 32GB RAM, Reverb HMD, Steam VR, TM Warthog Hotas Stick & Throttle, TM F/A-18 Stick grip add-on, TM TFRP pedals. SW: 2.5.6 OB
pbishop Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 So call me crazy, but someone from ED can maybe chime in if nobody knows?
Dannyvandelft Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I'm hoping revert to previous performance. VR performance in 2.5.6 is a lot worse than it was in 2.5.5 Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

But yes, I don’t know what they would “revert” to. Well they did say they would have native WMR support, the Reverb is WMR headset... Didn't think of that.
