L-140 LWS switch is located to the left of the ABRIS above the ABRIS power switch, and JUST below the small lamp as indicated.

At present there is no physical switch to determine ON/OFF, and ED is aware, so hopefully a fix is coming soon.

After a 30 second warm up period, the lamp on the back panel will illuminate to let you know the system is active.

See screenshots below for reference.

Is this new setup intented? It's a pretty odd location for such a subsystem, especially since the status lamp remains in the back next to the now empty button slots.

As mentioned by Baaz: it's a known issue.

Probably WIP due to the tweaks implied by the future Black Shark 3 upgrade (including improved auto-defense systems).

Just beta version issues.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, but I wonder what exactly is WIP here and how it is supposed to look like?

Seems like the old system has been restored now.
