Your big issue here is the altitude. Still they can be started by crank starting each engine first.

I took control of your track and was able to start both engines this way.

Well, I tried it but not in the that track still no deference, So can you please send me a track of that!?

Thanks.

BTW it's not because of alt! Because the APU started with no problem and the engines didn't!

I think standard procedure for temperatures below -25 is to run the APU for an extended time.

I remember reading this in an Mi-8 manual somtime long ago.

Can't remember the time though, but I remember being amazed by it. It might have been up to 30 minutes of APU burn before attempting to start engines.

If you set the mission editor temperature to the lowest setting of -12.4 you get ~ -26 degrees at 1000m and engines start a lot easier. Over 2000m is where the trouble really begins and I think this is true even for higher temps. I always thought it was a feature rather than a bug, but I am very happy if it is a bug and gets fixed then I can run more alpine missions.

Here's a track.

Track is not playing correctly for me! were you under the Mi-26?!

same mission make the weather warmer at the same alt and engines starts... Anyway 2000m is not that high to prevent the engines from starting up!

Lol no I was behind it.

Basic procedure was

Ground power on >> APU start >> Engine anti-ice on >> Left Engine false start >> Left engine crank start >> Left engine start >> Right engine crank start >> Right engine crank start >> Right engine start >> Move throttles to max and wait for them to warm up.

Definitely altitude plays a role in the way the engines start, I'll do more testing when I have time to see how this and temperature effects start up. :dunno:

Thanks for that, I'll try it out.
