Bad colour banding on the spinning propeller texture in 2.5.6.45317 Open Beta.

Coming up 11 months on this ugly prop texturing now ED . . .  It makes screenshots etc (you know, good for sales) pretty ugly. .  .

It's probably fixed on some internal build that special people like Growling Sidewinder get exclusive access to for screenshot/video production that's used in sales promotionals. There seems to be little interest in fixing things for us commoners as long as aforementioned deceptive promotionals get our money.

^ Maybe GA uses older prop textures ;).

 

For those who don't fly online, or don't need to worry about Integrity Check, here are the previous textures:

You'll have to pack them into SpitfireIXc.zip archive located in \CoreMods\WWII Units\SpitfireLFMkIX\Textures location. Recommended to keep the altered zip as a mod and disable/enable it during every update process.

 

I know it's not a long-term solution, but at leat I can fly the plane offline without having my eyes bleed.

I don't want to spam, but I've edit the alpha channel of file _05 and this is what it looks like

 

 

 

5 minutes work, so please, ED ... fix this problem !
