Taking advantage of the Sale and Trials. Im interested in getting one of the post ww2/korea airframes.

I think ive narrowed down my choice to the MiG15/MiG19, as ive been told they require a little more respect and piloting, and there will always be Sabre opponents as it seems the F86 is the favorite.

What is your Favorite Module in the 24.99 to 29.99 price range and why?

Do you prefer the MiG15 over the MiG19, or vicky-vokey?

Any input is appreciated. If you feel the need to Dote please do.

For reference i own the Warthog (fav) the Harrier, the Mirage and Black Shark

thanks!

MiG-15 is classic, it’s also really good as air to ground artillery.

MiG-19 is a great plane and a lot of fun, but sometimes I feel like I don’t want to go back until the ADF works with mouse, and there’s a couple other nagging things.

If you have the money it’s fun, but you will want something to go back to, and for that the 15 never ever disappoints

OK got the 15.. and its Kicking my Ass.

First thing that bothering me, is the thresholds. but thats fixable with spline tuning.

But this constant nosing up is literally wearing out my arm. the trim system is totally inadequate.

3rd.. whats this nose over blackout? no red out, no slow blackout.. this instantaneous black screen? i mean wtf? 5 degrees and a black out?

4th.. im killing the engine somehow. what conditions kill the turbine? spooling too fast?

im a little concerned that the tutorials and instant games.. had no air to air combat.. almost as if to suggest its a poor idea.

Ideas?

sounds like youre pretty heavyhanded. the mig-15 is not a carefree aircraft, and you need to train your muscles into making inputs gradually. its particularly pitch sensitive, you can easily haul in too much and choke on alpha in addition to hitting really bad negative g's like you experienced. try some gunnery practice, you'll realize how much you're oscillating. instant action interception is a good starter.

there is no input moderation scheduled to airspeed, youre in control of it all. this aircraft has zero problems accelerating up to a speed too fast for its own good and you will start losing control; running out of pitch trim is only the start. don't fly at 100% throttle all the time, they dont do that in reality either.

ive actually never stalled the compressor but that sounds like what you're encountering, if the isolation valve is set correctly i think it should moderate the spooling rate which should mitigate it. maybe in your case its got more to do with too much alpha or negative g fuel starvation.

as usual, attach tracks so we're not stuck guessing.

a2a is what this thing was made for. once you get the hang of it the aircraft greases around quite nicely and the 37mm absolutely smites anything you can get in range of.
