Kervinou Posted April 5, 2020 Author Posted April 5, 2020 Thanks ! but strangly, even indications on HUD are also wrong... for example, plane is at my right but indications with the triangle on the HSI show me another direction... strange ! System specs: Win10 x64 | i7-9700KF / i9-12900KF | 48/64 GB | GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB / RTX 3090TI 24GB | *NvME PRO 2To | HOTAS Warthog/Virpil | MFG Crosswind Pedals | Button Box

Shrike88 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I will have to test. Before no real need ot use AA tacan with Datalink. However now with AAR its much more relevant to be used. Will test. If it is an issue post in Bug Reports Section.
J20Stronk Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) TACAN symbology on HSD can only be enabled if D/L is off with MFD button R5. You can toggle it on before turning on D/L, and it will show TCN info, even after you turn D/L on. Thanks ! but strangly, even indications on HUD are also wrong... for example, plane is at my right but indications with the triangle on the HSI show me another direction... strange ! That is because the arrow points to the course heading you should be flying as set in the TACAN page, not the TACAN source itself. You should reference the HSD for bearing info to the TCN station. (Provided you have TCN info enabled on HSD) Edited April 5, 2020 by J20Stronk

Kervinou Posted April 6, 2020 Author Posted April 6, 2020 OK thanks ! I will test it as soon as possible :) Bye System specs: Win10 x64 | i7-9700KF / i9-12900KF | 48/64 GB | GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB / RTX 3090TI 24GB | *NvME PRO 2To | HOTAS Warthog/Virpil | MFG Crosswind Pedals | Button Box
Kervinou Posted April 8, 2020 Author Posted April 8, 2020 OK ! I understood finally ! i was in A-A-RCV mode ! I tested this morning with the other mode : the A-A-B mode and as if by magic, the distance has appeared and tacan took account of the move of the refuel plane OK so it's ok ! thanks for all and if this example can be usefull for others, its good ! ;-) System specs: Win10 x64 | i7-9700KF / i9-12900KF | 48/64 GB | GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB / RTX 3090TI 24GB | *NvME PRO 2To | HOTAS Warthog/Virpil | MFG Crosswind Pedals | Button Box
