Hi

i'd never tested tacan on AA so do you know if there is a issue about that ?

 

 

because i put ma tac with AA but indications on HSI are wrong

for example, plane is at my right but indications with the triangle on the HSI show me another direction...

did you set magnetic variation to 00?

I will have to test. Before no real need ot use AA tacan with Datalink. However now with AAR its much more relevant to be used. Will test. If it is an issue post in Bug Reports Section.

TACAN symbology on HSD can only be enabled if D/L is off with MFD button R5. You can toggle it on before turning on D/L, and it will show TCN info, even after you turn D/L on.

That is because the arrow points to the course heading you should be flying as set in the TACAN page, not the TACAN source itself. You should reference the HSD for bearing info to the TCN station. (Provided you have TCN info enabled on HSD)

OK !

I understood finally !

 

 

i was in A-A-RCV mode !

 

 

I tested this morning with the other mode : the A-A-B mode and as if by magic, the distance has appeared and tacan took account of the move of the refuel plane

 

 

OK so it's ok !
