I am new here, I was using TWS multi target lock and I managed to fire on all 3 targets (with undesignate) but only when I get close as far as 9 miles

I checked Grim Reapers video he shoot his AMRAAM's from 15 miles.

Am I doing something wrong or has AMRAAM range been nerfed?

Missile range is dynamic and depends upon many variables, including but not limited to aspect angle off of the targets, IE are they heading towards you or away from you.

Need more information - your altitude, target altitude, target aspect. These three factors play an important role in missile range.

Also, are you using open beta or stable build?

I have replay (very short), fire from 9 miles ... sabres were running away so I suppose this is OK

You and your targets are both a bit low. If you repeat this test but at 30,000', you'll get much better range.

Another issue is aspect, your targets are basically running away from you, which also lowers the AIM-120C range. If you repeat this with your targets heading towards you, you'll get better range too.

Ownship speed plays a huge role in range as well.

Part of the problem with the Hornet and AIM-120 is the lack of mid-course guidance (known bug, reported, hopefully fixed next patch). So what's happening is that the missiles are flying to a target's last-known position (at launch) and not changing course until pitbull, where it pulls a massive amount of G and bleeds all of its energy in an attempt to re-intercept.
