DmitriKozlowsky Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Dear Lord! I get 150-200 FPS in this little kite string bag. I have never seen this level of FPS from any module. Now why cant every module in DCS be like this? So is the flight model spot on 100% accurate PFM, or close enough ? It kind of looks like some 1930's pre-War/InterWar fighter designs. I am curious how this kite would fare against WWII fighters , with some .50 BMG and .308 guns firing through prop? The roll rate is insane. Would love to see its fuel and air delivery system, in real life, to see how designers solved +HighG and -G challenges in fuel delivery. I know next to nothing about this little kite-bird. BTW, I suck, I mean completely and totally suck at landing, T/O , and taxi in taildraggers. Which is why I dont like 'em. Result -Uncommanded Yaw on T/O, resulting in runway departure and rollover. -Uncommanded Yaw on landing resulting in same. -Dynamic fwd pitchover on landing, with slightest of wheel brake or other reasons. Crash due to prop and nose digging into ground. -Dynamic ground loop on taxi or T/O attempts. Since I get this in TF-51 and Eagle, I know its me. I am missing something about controlling taildraggers.

unlikely_spider Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Are you looking at the turn/slip indicator? That will tell you that the plane wants to go to one side or the other before you will notice otherwise. Keep your feet moving back and forth quickly in short little movements in anticipation (called dancing on the rudders". Modules: Wright Flyer, Spruce Goose, Voyager 1
DmitriKozlowsky Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 Dynamic yaw moment happens on ground, during high speed taxi, T/O, and landing regardless of what I do with rudder.
unlikely_spider Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Do you have any axis double mapped? Modules: Wright Flyer, Spruce Goose, Voyager 1
