Phil C6 Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) Hi, in the F18, is it possible to use the Antenna Elevation of the Cougar as in the F16? I mean in the F16 the radar antenna position correspond at the position of the Axis of the Cougar Antenna elevation (so when you get the good position no need to put the axis in neutral position) In F18 the system seems different when you move the Antenna Elevation of the Cougar when you get the good position you need to comeback at the neutral position (if not the antenna continue to going up or down) It's very disturbing in Air air engagement So if a solution exist please let me now Oops sorry didn't noticed the sub forum for F18 and controllers and the question has been asked already but not for Cougar Please a moderator could displace my thread? Best regards Edited April 29, 2020 by Phil C6
Creepy Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 I think you’re stuck as is... the real hornet control for antenna elevation works the same way where it is spring-loaded to its center position.

Razor18 Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) If you go into Controls and select Axis commands, in alphabetic order you will find a command saying "Radar Elevation Control". Being an analog axis, I'm quite conviced this it what you were looking for. Yes, it is a bit stupid, that they gave another name for the same function... And just for the cherry on top, it will probably also function as FLIR zoom, as it does RL and in the SIM too Edited April 29, 2020 by Razor18
