Jester constantly is calling out "stinger!" For nothing

He is actually saying ‘Singer’, which is brevity for a RWR SAM indication or launch.

But hes saying it when either theres

A nothing happening

B its happening 60 miles away and not at us, and isnt on comms.

To be fair, you said "sTinger" not "singer" - they're different. Words means things.

 

Jester needs work, HB has acknowledged that this is on their to-do list I believe.

Is it possible that Jester is calling out radar guided SAM contacts as "Stinger" in the current DCS version? I had that impression in my last missions.

Stinger is for SAM launch. When this thread was made, was before we fixed Jester calling missiles too far out and in an environment where many launches were happening this resulted in too many stinger calls.
