Currently in-game you can only fire a single rocket from a rocket pod at the time. This is realistic, but with the actual rocket pods you can manually change the firing now from single to ripple by turning a knob on the rocket pod. When in ripple mode you can hold down the weapon release button and launch all the rockets, or tap the button to fire in salvos. Keep in mind that in ripple mode it is almost impossible to fire just a single rocket because of delays in the signal etc. And your will most likely fire at least three rockets even if you only want a single rocket. This is a feature and could be implemented in a similar way to gbu laser codes in the kneeboard.

I don't know how often all-at-once feature of LAU is used on F-16. Because SMS can be set to any number of firing pulses on WR press then configuring LAU for one-at-a-time rocket firing allows SMS full control of firing.

I love the info from SpaceMonkey037 and I think given source material or cross checking that the DEVs would appreciate getting this as realistic as possible.

Not an owner of the F-16, so working off association here, so apologies ahead of time for not being able to check myself.

This is a long-debated topic going all the way back to the A-10C days. IIRC, the option was added to the loadout screen to select single/ripple. Is this not still the case? Something that just may not be in the F-16 loadout options but available in others?

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.
