Dunx Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 My deck crew can't stand still, they are doing high-speed deck sliding / jittering / shaking / shuffling... anyone else? I've tried creating my own mission, just the ship, me and wingman, and tried one of the pre-baked F/A-18C Supercarrier missions. I'm sure it wasn't like this before. Jafergon Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 (edited) I've noticed that when I'm not using VR and I'm getting extreme high FPS. (around 120-140fps). In VR with FPS capped to 45 no jitter at all. Edited May 26, 2020 by Jafergon
Dunx Posted May 26, 2020 Author Posted May 26, 2020 I've noticed that when I'm not using VR and I'm getting extreme hight FPS. (around 120-140fps). In VR with FPS capped to 45 not jitter at all. That's it, I was testing wind effects on heave and was running DCS in desktop mode. I ran the same test mission in VR and my deck crew are normal again. Thank you sire! Jafergon Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 No worries! I guess the interaction between crew and deck runs internally at a maximun frame rate and when you are above that, the jitter happens...
Razor18 Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 It is due to shadows settings, AFAIK if you set your shadows to off or flat. Mentioned in other topics too.
