Chiron Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 To shade the sun? Please? i would vote for that specially after the last brilliant patch now i can't see anything if i am flying facing the sun and more over missile trail is faded cuz of this genius high brightness that they did i fear one day after one of this wonderful patches our planes will not take off from the airport :lol::lol::lol:
sublime Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Thx guys I mean its in other mods. We have nvgs.. and theres been missions where the sun blots out my hud.. or whatever
uboats Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 will consider but not in top priority at this moment [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My DCS Mods, Skins, Utilities and Scripts | Windows 10 | i7-4790K | GTX 980Ti Hybrid | 32GB RAM | 3TB SSD | | TM Warthog Stick | CH Pro Throttle + Pro Pedal | TIR5 Pro | TM MFD Cougar | Gun Camera: PrtScn |
Chiron Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 will consider but not in top priority at this moment please dont understand me wrong my intention is 100% clear i am curious what is top priority's are u focusing in ..... really i would love so much to see Roadmap for JF-17 or what we will expect or what is the new features are we waiting or what u gonna introduce to us next
Sublimearrepentido Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 Obviously i can see it not being a priority. However go dogfight and have to fly towards the sun Llterally every airforce uses them. Theyre already in other modules. Its a bit silly not to include them.
Tiger-II Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 +1 for some roadmap. Motorola 68000 | 1 Mb | Debug port "When performing a forced landing, fly the aircraft as far into the crash as possible." - Bob Hoover. The JF-17 is not better than the F-16; it's different. It's how you fly that counts. "An average aircraft with a skilled pilot, will out-perform the superior aircraft with an average pilot."
sublime Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 +1 for some roadmap. Thx bro Yea i didnt mean stop and do it now i meant like at some pt
J20Stronk Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Maybe with HMD/S, if the PAF decides to bring it to Blk.2? (Unlikely, but still)
Tiger-II Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Flying last night with the Sun behind me, and the panel completely washed out (F-16). Couldn't see a thing. Not seen a similar problem with the JF-17. I also flew into the Sun. I don't recommend it, but I could see mostly fine. Tiger-II Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 sometimes u will hate it What happens? Got a specific set-up to try? sublime Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 What happens? Got a specific set-up to try? With the jeff i just notednflying directly into the sun washes the hud out bad. Prolly like irl But irl they have visors. Hell my fathers vietnam era f4 wso helmet has a a clear visor and shaded one

Tiger-II Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Oh. I did try that and it seemed to be OK? sublime Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 I can see fine? HUD vanishes as expected. Exactly.. its suppsoed to. This is why ww1 and ww2 pilots wore shaded glasses and my dads vietnam era f4d wso helmet had a shaded visor.
Chiron Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 i flied in some weather sunny conditions that i literally didn't saw any number on my hud except range if i tried to move my head to the left ... and sometimes i do loft shoot and i found my speed 0.7 :megalol::megalol::megalol: and i am stalling .... but really helmet visor or Hud one like SU-27 is important but not urgent to push DEKA to do it
sublime Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Exactly i cant see the hud AT ALL.with the current conditions facing the sun. Frankly.that huds hard to resd anyways. Its in other modules. I just think it should be confirmed as added om the list
Tiger-II Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 Is there even supposed to be a filter for the HUD? Not every aircraft has this...just avoid flying into the Sun? AeriaGloria Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 There is a visor on the HGU-55P helmet they use, I think that’s what they mean Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
sublime Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 (edited) Yes i dont mean a 109 esque sliding sun filterm every combat helmet in the world has a sunglass big ass visor that drops. My fathers wso (back searer VIETNAM F4D gelmet had it! Come on! And its in other modules! This is like the f14 nit having a jesrer iff or declare cmd but the jf17 does. Wtf??? Edited June 20, 2020 by sublime
