Chiron Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 i was curious how Trim system work cuz i was testing unbalance loadout and i tried to trim JF-17 and i found it weird maybe i dont know . when i use trim button it successfully trim my plane but when i remove my finger trim automatically go to default again am i doing something wrong ??
Mustang25 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Trim system works normally like every other aircraft for me. Maybe something is wrong with your keybinds?
Chiron Posted June 12, 2020 Author Posted June 12, 2020 i am using X-56 Rhino what keybinding u use ?
JCae2798 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 I found speed can affect trim as well. If you find it balanced and speed up or down, you could find yourself having to trim again. I did find one weirdness but i'm new to DCS and not sure this is normal but after set trim banking and straightening out again i sometimes need to tweak the trim yet again.
AeriaGloria Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Well it depends. If it’s roll and yaw then yeah you may need to trim with every speed change, since those are just CAS systems and not FBW Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
foxwxl Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 The trim just works like other planes. I trimmed a lot on asymmetric loadout, it works fined. Deka Ironwork Tester Team

Trim should be unaffected by roll angle unless they actually model the effect of gravity on the stores, in which case I still think it is exaggerated.
