Emmy Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 So the brightness lever on the AOA indexer doesn't help then? Doesn’t help nearly enough with NVGs on. Even with the slider run all the way down, you’re still blind from your 10 to your 1 o’clock. HayMak3r Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Agreed. night flights are super hard with that being so bright :) Intel i7 8700K @ 4.8Ghz, Asus RoG Maximus X Formula, 32GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200, EVGA Geforce 2080 Super, 1TB Samsung Evo 970 M.2, 500GB Samsung Pro 860 SSD. HayMak3r Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Is this stuff implemented yet? Survival Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Thanks @DrBlackJack!! I will give it a try today with this!! The switches are not implemented.
Cake Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Didn’t notice anything about these on the ED F16 feature survey. 6700K@4.6 48Gb - 1080Ti Hybrid - Warthog - RIFT
SpaceMonkey037 Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 I don't think we will ever see these features added. ED have copied a specific version of the block 50, all the panels etc. are identical to that F-16. The switches we have are what we have. Look at the ECM and AVTR, two panels with no clickable switches, but they are there. NVIS will not be a thing in our F-16.
Emmy Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 But they could still reduce the luminance at the bottom of the brightness slider. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com
Emmy Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hallelujah! We can now completely black out both the AOA Indexer and the NWS confirmation when desired!!! No more NVG blow out! Thank You ED!
