Binding issues

Hi All,

 

I am running the latest public Beta.

I added one binding to my throttle.

It was not working.

I have tried to map it to my joystick, not workin aswell.

I tried to map it on a free key on my keyboard. not working.

When coming back in the menu I see my changes are still there.

 

It seems binding changes are not working anymore.

What was mapped is still ok.

 

Any ideas?

Check that you’re not binding it under “game” mode or “sim” mode and running it under the other mode

If I push the R key it works.

Pressing Button 9 on my thrust does not do anything in the game

How did you select JOY_BTN9?

From the drop down list or by pressing the button?

If configured by pressing the button it should work and is a proof that the button responds.

If configured by using the drop down list, you might use the wrong button and JOY_BTN9 isn't the one you actually press.

Button was selected by pressing the button.

If All is selected in the configuration menu and I activate BT9 it is going to that line.

it is not working in game??

Well, sometimes there are bugs like that preventing the bindings working from devices while keyboard works fine. You may ask here for confirmation and/or report if applicable:

EVen keyboard changes are not working

You might try this:

1. exit DCS, make a copy of the folder \svaed games\dcs\config\input\ka-50 sim\

2. delete the original folder

3. run DCS, try in game bindings (ka-50 sim)

4. if working try to import profile from the copy

Don`t know what the issue was, reinstalled DCS after full un install.

Everything works fine again
