+1 Would love the Tu-16, it's a perfect fit for the F-14A in Red Storm Rising style scenarios/fleet defence.

Personally though, several variants would probably have to be included:

  • Tu-16 "Badger A" - conventional bomber
  • Tu-16K-10-26 "Badger C" - missile carrier with surface-search RADAR (YeN 'Puff Ball'/Rubin-1K/KV(?)) capable of launching the K-10S/AS-2 "Kipper", KSR-26/AS-2 "Kingfish and KSR-2/AS-5 "Kelt"(?)
  • Tu-16RM-1 "Badger D" - maritime reconnaissance & ELINT
  • Tu-16KSR-2-5-11(?)/K-16-26 "Badger G" - missile carrier (retaining conventional bombing capability), some equipped with Rubin-1K/1M
  • Tu-16P/PP "Badger J/L" - EW platform equipped with jammers (I think the Tu-16PP "Badger L" can also be fitted with chaff dispenser pods)
