Separate Refuel, Rearm, Change skin options

As the title says, ability to change skin without waiting for rearm, or refuel, maybe include a separate tick boxes, liveries - rearm - refuel, in the rearming window choosing what you need at the given moment.

 

 

 

Dunno if it has been wished for before, couldn't find it using search.

I believe skin changes are instantaneous. If you want to rearm, without refueling, then don't adjust the fuel, it defaults to the current level. If you want to refuel without rearming, then add fuel, don't touch hardpoints, I believe it only shows your current mounted weapons. If I'm wrong about that last point, disregard it.

Yea pretty obvious until you try it,

When you select skin, it does change instant, but you have to press OK to keep it it there,

once you press ok, and you don't change weapons in the process, it will still start the rearming anyway, if you move to cancel it, your guided, gps bombs... get bugged etc etc...

 

refuel wont happen unless you move the slider, I just added it as option so we can choose,

So the only issue is the last part I was mistaken (which I acknowledged was possible)? Didn't know about gps bugs, that should be reported somewhere, if it hasn't been already.

The stores get buged, you cant select weapons, some work some don't if you cancel the rearm, by moving, that comes when do a simple skin change, and you can't go without the rearm.

That's why I asked for those options.

Assuming it's all of them and not just the F-18 (likely) it's probably already been reported. Doesn't sound like intended behavior.

Yea, don't have time to test everything, and don't have all the planes, but if it is a bug, this would be a nice workaround:P

Would be useful if this was added when they tweaked refuel window.

Mission: load 4 JSOW on f18 for long range strike. First hour of flight you have programmed all JSOWs, four different targets.  Was not able to link up with tanker so diverted to Batumi to refuel to continue mission.  SORRY DCS wont refuel you only!!! you have to REFUEL & REARM.   NO! ALL the programming is lost because DCS had to REARM you, as well as refuel.  Even if there are no JSOWs available at the fuel stop.  Please lets us choose , 1: rearm  2: refuel  3: new Skin.

They could have done it when they upgraded rearm and refuel window but sadly they didn't, these options should be separate from each other, and I don't think its a major time consuming task.
