J-11A on main menu, but not in Mission Editor

I'm a noob, I downloaded the J-11A by Johnny Ho, put it in my

 

Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft folder.

I start DCS and it shows the J-11A on the main screen, I can also see it in Installed items (checked as ON).

 

 

But when I go to Mission Editor, under China, Russia, etc. there is no J-11A listed .

 

 

Also, in MP, I cannot enter a J-11A.

Any idea what simple thing I'm not doing? Thanks in advance.

u need to buy FC3 pack and mods not allowed in MP

Sorry, I should have said I have FC3.

I have the F22 ,f15, mod working. That's why im stumped on the J-11a mod.

if you have fc3, then you have j11a, no need the mod

I unistalled the J-11A mod I had manually previously placed in my Saved Games sub folder.

Now I do not show a J-11A on my main screen, and in ME there is still no J-11A to choose (China, Russia, etc. - Nothing, CAP, etc.).

 

 

So, I exited and did a DCS Repair, thinking something got corrupted.

 

After the repair - PROBLEM SOLVED. J-11A now shows up in ME.
