VR and Second Monitor

Since my search didn't turn up anything definitive, I'll ask the question.

 

Is it possible to run DCS in VR and also have a second monitor pushing out a different view, like say an external view? This would be helpful for those in my family (kids) who like to see what's going on as the view shown on the primary monitor is obviously a headset viewpoint.

Would also be nice to have the F1 view on screen, so one can fly while someone else is looking around through the VR headset. Just to be able to give friends that don't know anything about flying, a VR show

That would be awesome For MR vids. (And horrible for Framerate)

You can’t right now.....

But a workaround could be to have another machine acting as a server where you can then move external views.

That's my current plan since I'll be running a dual system with one acting as a server. Just curious if anything was currently working.
