Hi

I have issues where some keybindings are disabled on some aircraft models when TrackIR software are running.

An example is A-10C Warthog where DMS bindings are not working and F/A-18C Hornet where nosewheel/autopilot is disabled.

The bindings work when not running TrackIR software along with DCS.

Another odd thing is the my HOTAS is reversed in the controls overview, where the stick is on the left side and throttle is on the right when TrackIR software is running. Starting DCS without TrackIR all looks as expected.

I have tried to reinstalling TrackIR with no luck.

Does anyone have an idè why this is?

I'm running DCS open beta and speculating on uninstalling and install stable version, but that is a last resort solution due to the size of DCS.

Windows 10 (1909)

TrackIR5

Saitec x-56 pro

Mayby those keys are used by trackir for recenter and such? Trackir claims sole right to the keys it uses.

That i dont know, but i can not find any bindings to those keys in TrackIR, i have only set up bindings that is on the F keys to TrackIR.

Well, I can't be really a help here but though I can confirm that if I use TIR the bindings for my coolie hat are gone. I have left, right, up and down view on my coolie hat so that keys aren't really missing when connectig TIR.

Different story when you have DMS keys bound on it

Brrrrrrrrrrrt

I'd rather call in a Strike Eagle...

I7 6700K, MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon, 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw V 3200, Inno3D GTX 1080, Samsung 970 Evo, Thrustmaster 1.6000M, TrackIr 5

Well, it do not mater what i bind to DMS, bindings is disabled anyhow when using TrackIR.

I can leave it with default keyboard bindings and it still will be disabled when running TrackIR software.

from that screen shot it appears that the keys are bound to something else in DCS. try to pick "all" from drop down and search for the other bindings. i think the red color implies something is already using the key combo. another thing to try is take note of the important bindings and then clear it all and redo them. or go and get a new profile in user files.

NICE!

That was my first approach before asking the forum, but seem to have missed some weird combos that i can't remember ever have made..

The weird thing is that it was TrackIR who triggered it. Not using TrackIR the bindings worked and non of the combos had anything to do with TrackIR bindings.

Anyhow, problem solved!!

Thank you.
