mastersetter Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 I may be going mad but on my last flight i noticed that the jet had no runway noise at all, im pretty sure it used to have the rumbling of the wheels on the ground as you hammer down the runway. Its really a nice immersion thing to have, was i imagining this or did we loose it somewhere down the line? i5-7600K @ 4.8 | 32GB | 1080 | Rift S | TM MFD & WH HOTAS-10mm ext + TFRP
Puma Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 You should definitely have tire noise. Maybe a repair would help? Check dcs log file fir any hints about sound issues? I notice it every time, especially on landing it sounds more grindy than I expect, which started a couple months ago and may definitely be just from me tweaking volume levels of my system. I play another game Rocket League, and occasionally will lose engine audio... though my friends who are in the same arena with me, say THEY can hear mine... Sometimes it fixes itself, just by changing cars, other times I've had to toggle "Disable Enhancements" on the audio card properties. Art-J Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Might as well be some custom mod related issue. Remember that many sound samples are shared between multiple aircraft, so a faulty mod for non-A-10 aircraft might affect A-10 as well. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
mastersetter Posted July 13, 2020 Author Posted July 13, 2020 Tried a repair last night, and still no tire noise. Is anyone else getting this, or is it just me? i5-7600K @ 4.8 | 32GB | 1080 | Rift S | TM MFD & WH HOTAS-10mm ext + TFRP
