Taz1004 Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 why in the world is the screen in portrait mode while playing in VR? Because it is mirror of what's on your VR headset. If it has to draw separate resolution or aspect ratio, it'll eat up your valuable GPU cycle. Better Smoke - Better Trees Caucasus - Better Trees Syria - Better Trees Mariana - Clear Canopy Glass
Eldur Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 If you're running Oculus, you can open up that one: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusMirror.exe --Size 1024 1024 --LeftEyeOnly --FovTanAngleMultiplier 1.3 1.3 Works for me if I maximize the window then. https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/native/pc/dg-compositor-mirror/ Won't stay in foreground though (there are probably tools that make it do that), but works for streaming.
