Banzaiib Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 As a track-ir user, I find the head position just slightly too far forward. When I look down, the top of the RWR is cut off (and that's where the biggest threats tend to be). If the default head position was about 3 inches farther backwards, you could look down and easily see the RWR. (some of you might say, well just lean backwards and look down, but, not everyone has that much ability to move, even when using trackIR)... I have no idea if this is an issue with VR.
Swift. Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Most commonly you will be using the EW page or the HUD.to see RWR information 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2

larsony99 Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 I use the throttle slider on my joystick as the zoom. I prefer to zoom out slightly from the initial position when I'm flying. Maybe something like this would work for you as well. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
PL_Harpoon Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 There are key bindings that let you adjust your camera position. Can't remember them now but if you look around in the options you'll find them. There's also a combination to save your current position. I think it's called "save camera angles".

SlipHavoc Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Here's a forum thread on how to move your eye position: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=164892 Pasting the relevant portion here: RCTRL + RSHFT + KP4,2,6,8 = Moves your eyepoint L,D,R,U respectively RCTRL + RSHFT + KP*, KPMinus = Moves your eyepoint fore and aft RALT + KP0 = Saves your current eyepoint position KP5 Recenters your view (Bind to a joystick or button box button with Joy2Key or other remapper to make centering simple) [Note, you shouldn't have to bind anything to hit KP5, that's taken care of by the Recenter VR Headset in the UI Layer controls.]
