A10 and ADF navigation

Hi guys,

 

I was following GrimReaper tutorial here, trying to pinpoint a hummer in the desert.

 

I followed this to the letter, but it seems that the ADF homming is not working. The needle 1 will never point to the hummer ...whatever I do.

 

I was able to make this work with the Huey in the past ... but cant with the A10.

 

Is this thing bugged?

Anyone surely knows if the ADF works? I am surprised that nobody is using this for navigation.

What do you mean by Hummer, a HMMWV or an E-2?

 

Either way, ADF homing on non-beacons only works when they are transmitting on the radio. So ensure the Hummer (whatever that is) is continuously transmitting if you want to guide to it.

Have been using it already, but had mixed results in MP.

As Swift said, the hummer needs to “hold down”
