Hi, when writing a mission or campaign, is it an option to have the jet start with these in place? Or does DCS do it automatically?

I cant get the ground crew to remove them in the first missions of 2 campaigns I have tried to start. They just say unable to comply and have tried everything suggested in the thread relating to this....

I am thinking maybe I can tinker in the ME and set them to not being placed when the mission starts......

cheers

are you starting the aircraft on the catapults. if you are then that is the reason they will not remove the chocks. it is a bug at the moment. if the aircraft start off the catapults then you should be able to remove the chocks by command. The only time I see this does not work is if any of the following is true:

1. there is acceleration applied to the throttles during removal

2. if the launchbar is in the down position during removal.

hope this helps

Ok, if you ask Chief to do this before you start the procedure, he will comply. No idea why it works in that order though....
