_Heater_ Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Hi folks, I fly with the Hornet with my Hotas Warthog (Hornet stick) and I’ve noticed that is there an misaligned between real position of my hotas and the VR inside the cockpit. My left hand (Real) is on the throttle, in VR is too much up over the throttle. Ideas ? Svsmokey Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Are you using deskmounts ? I am able to match virtual and real-world positions for the Hornet very closely with mine . 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2

Captain Orso Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 8< Ideas ? 8< Ideas? Ummm... what difference does it make? What exactly is your question? Fri13 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 You need to align your physical controllers position to match the VR one. Because you have some brand desk mounts doesn't mean your HOTAS would be where they would be in aircraft. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

Fri13 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 see the screen... my real hand over the TM Throttle. In the cockpit in not aliened Nothing wrong in DCS or VR. Only your real throttle is too high compared to your VR centering. Solution = Lower your real world throttle to match the VR one. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

Solution = Lower your real world throttle to match the VR one. You’re right. Now works nicely. I need to do the same procedure for the stick. Captain Orso Posted July 31, 2020 Posted July 31, 2020 Not sure why your gloved hands are appearing inside the virtual cockpit, but do they have anything like a home-position setting that you can setup, and that when your hand(s) is/are inside the home-position they aren't shown in VR? wormeaten Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 IPD @ 49 In game IPD is more correcting your proper FOV inside cockpit to be more realistic. IPD 49 can't be proper one because should be between 60 and 70 depend on exact your personal IPD. Put it for test somewhere in between like 65 for example or match it with value you got when you calibrating your HMD. So first do that to get realistic FOV and sence of cockpit size. Then calibrate physical position of your HOTAS.
