On the Guardian setup, you are asked to set a ground level first (which you can set at anything you want, you don't have to set the ground level, just accept the setting that is offered, mostly at chin level), then draw the boundary's. You can skip the setting of the boundary part and then you have to confirm that you don't set the boundary.

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

Yes, I see the bits you are talking about right up to the skip bit, I don't see any option to skip past these bits!!

Thanks for the link.

Here is the solution that worked for me: Disable the guardian and switch to public beta channel for Oculus. Also an advice; use default VR graphics settings for DCS. Otherwise I got many crashes to desktop dont know why.

Thanks but the problem is I can't find how to disable the guardian!!! Could you talk me through a step by step on how to do this? The place I have been told before where it is does not seem to be the same on mine!!! I am sure it will be down to something I am doing wrong but who knows!!

Open Oculus program. Go to settings->General, scroll down and disable Safety. Then come to settings->Beta enable test channel

That doesn't prevent Guardian to pop-up from time to time.

Still happening for me. DCS is unplayable for me as the guardian pops up as soon as I jump in a plane. Then, it comes up with an error saying my head can't be tracked. Guardian pop up comes up every few minutes.

Posted

For me, the guardian reset pops up the moment I join a server and the slot list pops up. It comes up again as soon as I spawn in a jet and then every few minutes after that.

Ok, so I narrowed down my issue to one server, the hoggit training server.

I can play single player without the issue occurring, I hopped in a few other servers with no issue including a different hoggit server, but it ALWAYS does it on the training server.

Any word on this on the Oculus forums?

I have pulled the logs from DCS and from oculus. Going to see if I can find someone at ED to just gander at the snippets I pulled from the log. I timed exactly the two times it happened and narrowed it down in the logs.

So, browsing through the exact time in the log for DCS I see nothing out of the ordinary. I did find a bunch of stuff related to resetting the guardian in the oculus logs. I submitted a support ticket with oculus with the logs and will report back when I hear back.
