SuperChief141 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 There're PDFs to download at Wwsimstore site. Some external dimensions are in them. Yup. There they are. ( Right where I should have looked in the first place ) Thanks!
Sokol1_br Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 A question about the panel with Landing Gear lever. This panels is seem by Windows Games Controllers with Windows native HID drivers? Is required use some software, or switches, levers, axis can be mapped direct in game controls, if, for example the user plan use in a game like Il-2 Sturmovik, with support almost only to momentary commands - "press a button key once for ON, press the game button/key again for OFF" ?

I don’t have the panel (yet) but It should behave like a regular Windows HID device like other Winwing gear, which means you can set it up anyway you want via external mappers such as joystick gremlin. Greyhound11 Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 ordered mine not knowing about the stock issue, no indications of being out of stock when i did it, but then didnt get shipping notification after their advertised two business days so I reached out. they were pleasant about the stock issue and said it would be shipping today (will check back tomorrow), but no price hike so far.
Dudikoff Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I like what I see, but IMHO it's rather strange there's no option to mount them at the end of the throttle base vertically (e.g. via some brackets that would attach to the base). Especially since they have planned to make these while they were still finishing the throttle design. i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. Supmua Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Just got my shipping notification from FedEx. Awesome. PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti. streakeagle Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 FedEx says my panels are arriving tomorrow by 10:30 AM. When I originally ordered them, the web page went crazy and said there had been some kind of script failure. But Paypal sent me the notice that indicated my order had gone through. My winwing store account never reflected the order. But I got a FedEx tracking number from the Paypal invoice. So, Winwing got the money, tomorrow I am getting the panels, but according to Winwing's records, I have only bought the stick/throttle/extension/deskmounts combined package. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SuperChief141 Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 So as soon as these came back in stock I ordered the pair. That was Oct 30. After several days of not being able to decipher SimStore's awful order status page I sent a polite Email inquiring to the status of my order. Here is their reply: ( Spelling, grammar and punctuation theirs ) Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your support, and very sorry for the delay. As too much order of new panels(they sold out in 48 hours out of our plan), the girls in warehouse are very busy in deliver. so a little delay. but don't worry ,all package worldwide will leave our factory as soon as possible. Please don't hesitate send me mail if anything more I can help you. Best Soooo.....Lemme see if I got this right. SimStore announces panels are back in stock. (I will assume for the sake of argument they know how much inventory they have.) Along comes a simple schmuck (me) who jumps on it. Simstore processes order and happily takes the afore mentioned schmuck's money but has no inventory to back order. Now SimStore has Schmucks money and Schmuck still has no idea when panels will arrive. Seems Legit

streakeagle Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 My panels came in this morning. Got them mounted and applied firmware updates to everything. After testing all of the switches I can say I am very happy with these. They will radically change how I map my controls in almost ever aircraft and the different shapes/sizes of the controls will make it easy to use them in VR. I don't fly flat panel displays often enough to appreciate the animated lighting effects very often, but I will try it out. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I ordered both panels and only received the Combat Ready Panel this morning. I have not received any shipping information so I had no idea they were even on the way. Thanks. EDIT: Nevermind! Separate packages confirmed. Second shipment expected on Thursday.
streakeagle Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Yes, they came as separate packages, but both of mine were delivered at the same time. Sorry you have to wait until Thursday! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Crusader69 Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Received 2 days ago.... need to have SimAppPro running for the panels light to sync with DCS. MustangSally Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 I'll have mine tomorrow...looks like the looseness of the knobs is down to the actual switch being loose in the housing. FoxTwo Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Got mine, they're working well. If you want to be able to map all the functions 1:1 you're going to have to edit some LUA. Drop these into your DCS program files folder (for example \Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta) if you want an easy fix. Doesn't break IC it's just button mappings. Mods.zip 1
Supmua Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Got my takeoff/landing panel. Great build quality (metal). Landing gear and hook have 3 binding positions (up, center, down). Analog (axis) inputs are superb as usual with zero jittery. Interestingly, the panel light switch controls 3 axis inputs at once (slider 1, dial, Rz) which is convenient if you want to bind multiple light switches to one input. FoxTwo Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 What functions cant you map.....I've mapped them all without editing anything?? ECM 5 position switch, hook bypass, and launch bar. ECM switch mapping is missing completely (due to not yet being implemented, but the code is there and it's possible to make it work which is in the zip file), and the hook bypass and launch bar only have up/down toggles, not 1:1 position maps. It's entirely optional but if you want the switches to mostly do what they're labeled for, you need to edit some LUA.
redcoat22 Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Does anyone know which firmware to use? They aren't labeled very clearly on the website. Also, should I do that before plugging this in?

My panels were shipped on 11/09/2020 I received them yesterday (11/11/2020), built the stack, and programmed both panels with the exception of the ECM XMIT functions (I did program the hook bypass and launch bar.)
