In the attached video of East German Air Force at

a Flogger (presumably a MiG-23BN) drops some kind of bomb/missile with a bright flare on its tail. Does anyone know what weapon that is?

The closes comparison I could find was the KAB-500Kr. Its shape doesn't quite match up, but the rough size could. The flare attached to the back makes me think it is some sort of training version of the above mentioned KAB-500Kr (or general training munition) and aids in detection after ground impact. The explosions afterword look like they were cut in by the film makers for added effect.

it could be an S-34 unguided Rocket, or an CH-25 AG Rocket, but its difficult to see

It's definitely not a rocket, as it gets dropped like a bomb or a missile that ignites after seperation.

It could have been the BetaB 150 in your link but its simply to big.

Aswell as the BetaB 500.

I used the length of a Mig 23BN of 16.7meters and used 11.7 times the length of the Weapon.

I calculated a length of the Weapon to around 1.43 meters(56.2992144inch) with this rough method.

But it is defenitly less than 2 meters.
