Willie Nelson
Funny you say that, it’s in the flow chart but I couldn’t find a way to do it. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 7, 2020 ED Team Share Posted September 7, 2020 (edited) I am looking for evidence that the display should be turned off but can not. Does anyone have proof the display should turn off when volume is turned to minimum / off? thanks Edited September 7, 2020 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 7, 2020 ED Team Share Posted September 7, 2020 We are aware of the radio off, but not sure if the displays should be turned off. We are going to ask an SME about it. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? BarTzi
I am looking for evidence that the display should be turned off but can not. Does anyone have proof the display should turn off when volume is turned to minimum / off? thanks Yes, I think it's described here: Channel Display Windows. When the corresponding radio is on, the selected channel (1-20, M or G) is displayed on the 16 segment alphanumeric display window. The diagonal display segment in the lower right quadrant of each display window illuminates whenever transmissions are received on comm 1 and comm 2, respectively. That's from NATOPS page I-2-112. (You might want to check that last sentence about the illumination during transmission with an SME, because that's also missing in DCS)
